Our Founders
Navya Tripathi
Navya is a senior at Duke University majoring in Statistical Science. She began her GIS journey back in 2017, with a project analyzing Hurricane Irma and its associated emergency response. She has since applied GIS to projects in fields of epidemiology, social determinants of health, among others, and conducted research at Harvard and Duke beyond her independent pursuits.
Shivi Tripathi
Shivi is a senior at Eastside High School and was introduced to GIS in 2022. She combined GIS with her passion for public health and has been conducting a spatio-temporal study on how vaping affects young adults across the US and how events such as COVID-19 may have exacerbated substance use.
